I had to smile when I opened a package sent to me from Germany …
Like the copy of Which Magazine, December 1961, Electric Cookers that was sent to me in error, a copy of ausbau, Issue 3, March 1977, was not what I was expecting.
For a moment I thought I was screwed. Fortunately, there was an explanatory label on the front cover. A label reminiscent of the “Intel Inside” stickers we see on today’s computers.
Articles in the magazine were concerned with different aspects of mechanical and electrical engineering. My only interest in flicking through its pages was to find the Olympia Splendid advertisement secreted within its pages …
We insurgents do have to take precautions.
