This is a guest post on behalf of Marie Haines who is currently enduring the harsh winter weather in Columbus, Ohio, and got in touch with me enquiring about the value of her dad’s Olivetti Lexikon 92C, which she wants to sell.

It’s hard to put a figure on it, but I’m guessing these typewriters aren’t easy to find, even if they were made in the USA, especially with no less than 6 spare print balls.

Marie’s Dad was a land surveyor and used the typewriter to type up survey descriptions, invoices, letters, etc. Her Mom also used it occasionally to help out. If you’re local to Marie’s area and are interested in making her a reasonable offer for the typewriter (plus extras and an Olivetti PR 2300 printer), let me know and I’ll pass on your details to her.

p.s. Anyone know exactly where the serial number is located on these typewriters?
